And on the melancholy beacon, fell 　
The spirit of pleasure and youth‘s golden gleam－
And think ye not with radiance more divine
From these remembrances, and from the power
They left behind?

翳らす道標の頂、ふりそそぐ
よろこびの魂と若い黄金やわらかな光―
その神秘まばゆい光に想うだろう
この懐かしい記憶たち、この記憶が残した力から
心遺して去れるだろうか？
