ベランダの数本のカボチャ🎃の苗が育っている。メキシコ🇲🇽産のカボチャのタネをランダムに撒いておいたら芽が出て、勝手に蕾までつけてきた。

初めの1本は、本体にそぐわない蕾をつけだけれど、咲く前にしぼみ枯れてしまった。

最近、これまた小ぶりのカボチャから蕾が膨らみ、これもダメだろうと期待していなかった。

しかし、見事に花が開き、もう少しで満開になる。せっかくなので堆肥をしてあげた。たとえカボチャ🎃が実らなくても、黄色い外国産のカボチャの花が見られただけでも、私はとても喜んでいる。2022.8.9

Several pumpkin🎃 seedlings are growing on the balcony. I sprinkled pumpkin seeds from Mexico🇲🇽 at random, and they sprouted and even started budding on their own.

At first, one of them produced a bud that didn't look like the main body of the plant, but it wilted and died before blooming.

Recently, another small pumpkin sprouted a bud, and I had low expectations that this one would fail as well.

However, it bloomed beautifully and will be in full bloom in a few days. I composted it for them. Even if the pumpkins🎃 don't bear fruit, I am still very happy just to see the yellow foreign pumpkin flowers. 2022.8.9

久しぶりの都営地下鉄東西線です。自宅から横浜〜新橋〜日本橋〜南行徳をめざしています。

スマホ片手に、乗り換えのルートを確認しながら、目的地に近づいてきました。

It's been a long time since I've been on the Toei Subway Tozai Line. I'm aiming for Yokohama〜Shinbashi〜Nihonbashi〜Minami-Gyotoku from my home.

I approached my destination while checking the transfer route with my smartphone in one hand.
