Honolulu Shock, and Nashville Hope !

2013年にホノルルでのInternational Stroke Conferenceで発表された3つのランダム化試験では血管内治療の有効性が否定されました。参会してショックを受け、ホノルルショックと名付けました。
一方、今回のNashvilleでは3つのランダム化試験で血管内治療の有効性が示されました。興奮冷めやらぬ状態で考え、脳梗塞に対する血管内治療の普及を期待して「ナッシュビル・ホープ」と呼びたいと思います。このキャッチフレーズで情報の拡散に努めていこうと思います。

In 2013, 3 randomized controlled trials failed to show the efficacy of endovascular treatment for acute stroke in Honolulu, so I named this as 'Honolulu shock'.
Interestingly, 3 randomized controlled trials showed its efficacy this time.
So, I'd like to call this as 'Nashville Hope' in expectation of the spread of endovascular treatment!
I'll try for diffusion of this information by this catch phrase.
