上山先生との放送

昨日は札幌禎心会病院の上山博康先生と大塚製薬のテレビフォーラムでご一緒させていただきました。
タイトルは「急性期の血行再建　〜血管内治療によるアプローチ〜」で、脳梗塞に対するカテーテル治療の最近の経験や情報を紹介しました。
今回、改めて調査したところ、この4年間に247件の脳梗塞に対する血管内治療を行っており、同期間に脳梗塞に対して行ったバイパス手術は13件でした。これは全体の5%程度に当たります。やはり患者さんをなんとしかして救おうと考えた場合には、外科手術も一つのオプションになることを示しています。
それにしても上山先生のお話はいつも面白く、楽しくなってしまいます。昨日はリラックスした雰囲気でお話することが出来ました。

Yesterday, I talked with Dr. Hiroyasu Kamiyama at TV forum supported by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co.
My talk's title was 'Acute cerebral revascularization - endovascular approach-'. I introduced new information regarding acute stroke intervention.
This time, we investigated our experience of acute stroke treatment in our hospital, and found that we performed endovascular therapy for 247 cases and bypass surgery for 13 cases for past 4 years. Bypass surgeries were equivalent to 5% of the total procedures. This suggested that surgical approach was also important options when we try to save patients.
By the way, Dr. Kamiyama's talk was always interesting and enjoyable. So, I talked relaxingly.
