患者さんは大型脳動脈瘤のため目が見えにくい状態が進行しており、動脈瘤が急速に増大していると考えられました。
つまり、破裂の危険が迫っていたということです。
このため、患者さんと相談し、急いでフローダイバーター治療を行うこととしました。
大型脳動脈瘤は治療リスクが高いことが知られています。
今回は実際の治療の様子を紹介します。

Hello everyone,
Today, I would like to introduce the actual procedure of endovascular treatment for an unruptured cerebral aneurysm.
The patient was experiencing progressive vision impairment due to a large cerebral aneurysm, which was rapidly enlarging. This indicated a high risk of rupture.
After thorough discussion with the patient, we decided to proceed urgently with flow diverter treatment. It is well known that treating large cerebral aneurysms carries a high risk.
