日本テレビ「行列の出来る法律相談所」に東洋大学の学食が写し出されました。

東洋大学の食堂は、大学日本一と称されるほど充実しているのですね。

番組で母校の学食。紹介したのは、中国哲学科わ卒業したフワちゃんでした。

学生時代、お金がなかったから、この本格的カレーセットを、ワンコインで2人してシェアしたそうです。

The school cafeteria of my alma mater in the programme. It was Huwa-chan, a graduate of the Chinese Philosophy Department, who introduced it.

She said that when she was a student, she didn't have a lot of money, so she shared this authentic curry set with two other students for just one coin.

This is the moon from our balcony. It is said to be a total lunar eclipse.

I am looking at the autumn moon thinking that I am glad that there are no clouds.

わが家のベランダからのお月さんです。皆既月食だそうです。

雲がなくて良かった、と思いながら秋の月を見る私です。

本日、僕はランチタイムを逃し、惣菜パンやお菓子でハイボールを飲んで空腹を紛らわしたのです。

その後、ベランダでたばこを吸っていたら、最後のオリーブの実が目に入り、収穫して塩に漬けました。

あと二ヶ月ほど過ぎれば、20項ほどのオリーブは食べられるようになるでしょう。

Today I missed my lunch hour and drowned my hunger by drinking highballs with deli bread and pastries.

Later, while smoking a cigarette on the balcony, I saw the last of the olives, harvested them and soaked them in salt.

After another two months or so, about 20 olives will be ready to eat.

私は、飲食店に入って喫煙所があれば、立ち寄りついでに写真を撮っています。ずっと続けているので、喫煙環境の変化がよく分かります。

今回は、「目ききの銀次」調布店です。男性スタッフに喫煙所の場所を聞き、広い店内の奥を右に曲がった角にありました。

最近の喫煙所は定員制になっており、ここも2名です。調布たづくり文化会館および周辺、駅前まで禁煙でしたから、飲食店内に喫煙所があると、私はホッとします。

ゴルフ練習場の喫煙所も2名ですが、満室の場合、私は外のパター練習場入口にスタンド灰皿を利用しています。

If I go into a restaurant and there is a smoking area, I stop by and take a picture while I am there. I have been doing this for a long time, so I can see how the smoking environment has changed.

This time, it was at the "Mekiki no Ginji" Chofu restaurant. I asked the male staff where the smoking area was, and found it at the back of the spacious restaurant on the corner to the right.

Smoking areas these days have a capacity system, and here too there are two people. Smoking was prohibited in and around the Chofu Tazukuri Cultural Centre and even in front of the station, so I was relieved when there was a smoking area inside the restaurant.

The smoking area at the driving range we go to also has a two-person capacity, but if it is full, I use the ashtray outside at the entrance to the putting range.
