[ken] 今年の2月8日、オリエンタルランド（千葉県浦安市）は、東京ディズニーランドと東京ディズニーシーの入園料を4月1日付で値上げすると発表しました。大人（18歳以上）の1日券を現行の6900円から7400円など、ほぼすべての券種を改定することになりました。しかも、値上げは2014年4月、15年4月に続き3年連続ですが、15年4月の値上げと同様に影響はほとんどなく、例年通りの入園者数を維持できると予測しています。
現在の東京ディズニーランドは、アミューズメント・テーマパークのダントツを独走し、安定した経営状態を続けていますが、本節に書かれているとおり開園までの道のりは困難を極めたようです。経済界、政界、千葉県、地元住民などを巻き込み、まさに「魔法の国への扉・こころの産業」づくりに奔走した人々の熱意や確固たる信念が、今の成功につながったのだと実感させられました。
とくに、ディズニー社とのロイヤリティを始めとする交渉にあたっては、きわどいギリギリのせめぎ合いと緊迫感が読んでる者にも伝わってきました。それはそうと、ディズニーランドにしばらく行ってないなぁ、ディズニーシーには一度ぐらい行ってみたいけどね……。（つづく）

▼金杉橋を流れきた古川を渡り、JR線路下をくぐり出た左手に、「道端の延命地蔵」が残っています。民間信仰の道祖神として、今も現役なのですね。お優しい顔をしていました。
