Today, I ran a 5,000m at the Nippon Sports Science Uni (NSSU) in Tokyo.
The level was high, as top runners from all Japan were there. I was in heat 12 of 28. The fastest heat was won in sub 14min.
I managed 15:44.9 which I was very happy with as it is my fastest time for quite few years, and comes off the back of my triathlon training. I still seems a long way off my target of sub 15min for 5,000m at 50.......but now I have a target, albeit a stretch target, it will motivate me to train hard this winter.
南蛮連合で一番早い記録を持っている。
ベストは１５分を切っているが、おん歳が５０歳に近い人の記録としては、、、とんでもないぐらいスゴイ！
水曜日のインターバルトレーニングでも、スタートから異次元のスピード。
私らには１００ｍダッシュしか思えないように走り始める。
南蛮連合はＡ組、Ｂ組と別れて周回しているけど、マイクさんはＡ組の中でも２０歳代の外人さんを置いてきぼりです。インターバルが６本目になるとキツクなったのか後ろから若者が追いつく。さすがにトライアスロン元世界チャンピオン
