Ｆｌｉｇｈｔ Ｓｉｍｕｌａｔｏｒに夢をたくす

13歳の息子がひさびさに夢中になっているのが、Ｆｌｉｇｈｔ　Ｓｉｍｕｌａｔｏｒのゲームソフト。

自分の行きたい国を決めて、世界あちこちを旅行しているらしい。最近ではマイクロフォーンを使って、機長になりながら機内アナウンスもこなす。

毎日コツコツ練習をこなしているので、これだけ技術に精通しているんだったら、本当に飛行機操縦できるんじゃないの？と思ってしまうが、どうなんだろう？

            I am very qualified for the financial advisor position at the Midwest America Bank.

            I've had many valuable experiences that have built strong skills in banking and in marketing.  In 2005 I began working as a teller at Bank of America in New York and I was promoted to a full time loan officer after 2 years.  I worked also as a loan officer from 2008-2009 at US Bank in Honolulu, Hawaii.

            Soon I am going to move with my family to Chicago and plan to live there indefinitely.

            6 years of studies at Long Island University led to an MBA.  This has also been an experience itself taking a semester of marketing.

            During my studies I discovered my interest in banking and marketing.  I have been involved in banking services around the country ever since.

            I believe that I am knowledgeable and have a passion for service.  I believe that I am also conscientious and professional in my work.   It would be an honor to work for your company.   Thank you for your time and I look forward to speaking with you in the near future.

これは、中学2年生の息子の国語の宿題で作成したカバーレターです。自分が将来なりたい職業を決め、そのためにはどの大学に行き、どういう職業経験を積むことが必要なのかをリサーチし、自分の長所短所を客観的に把握して、履歴書も作ります。

なかなか面白いプロジェクトです。

息子が選んだ職業は銀行員で、ＭＢＡも取得する予定だそうです。本当は世界で始めての自閉症者のパイロットになりたいそうですが、履歴書の作成しやすい銀行員を選んだみたいです。
