これは風変わりで面白いギボウシである。ストリップティーズの品種説明について、海外の英語サイト“hostalibrary”から拾ってみた。長文ですが、それほど、難しい単語は使っていないとおもわれるのでご参考にしてみてください。なお、わたしなりの「栽培メモ」も下段に記してみた。
●Descriptions (from various sources):
20" tall. Part Sun to Light Shade.
Dark green leaves with a narrow chartreuse center with traces of white. Pale lavender flowers in July. Chartreuse with dark green margin. A distinct white line runs between the center and the border. Satiny heart shaped leaves. Lavender flowers in late July.
This unique introduction is one that seemingly attracts all types of gardeners. This strange mutation of H. 'Gold Standard' has a durable dark green H. 'Fortunei'-like leaf, but with a unique strip of white in the center of each leaf. Alongside the white center is a narrow golden band between it and the green. The band is often not seen in young plants, but does seem to develop with age. In mid summer, the vigorous growing 2' wide clump is topped with violet flowers on 2' scapes. This is one truly spectacular plant that will have all the neighbors drooling!
A H. 'Gold Standard' mutation, a dark green leaf with a unique strip of white that surrounds a gold center. A vigorous plant with violet flowers.
A sport of 'Gold Standard', the leaves have a gold center and a very wide green margin. There is often a conspicuous, irregular white line between the center and the margin.
A unique 'Gold Standard' mutation with a light yellowish center and very wide dark green edge. The leaves frequently have a mysterious thin white strip dancing between the yellowish green center and the dark green margin.

Here is an intriguing sport of 'Gold Standard' with a narrow gold center and rich green margins with white etching between the two colors. 1997 Nancy Minks Award winner. Lavender flowers.
