スコールのような夏の雨。
昨晩のNHKラジオの深夜宅急便、ゲストは、マルチタレントのジュディ・オングさんでした。
歌手として、女優として、木版画作家として活躍しているジュディ・オングさんの博識に感心しながら聴いていました。
その出演時間の中で、ご本人が自分の好きな曲を紹介するのですが、かなり驚きました。
木版画の作業に入る時に聴く曲は、ポーランド人歌手バーシアさんの「New Day For You」。
そして、この曲を、ご自身も歌いながら、木版画の創作活動をするとのこと🎵
創作意欲のモチベーションが上がるとのこと❗
耳を澄まして、どんな曲なんだろうと聴いていると・・・だんだんと鳥肌が立ってきました。
８０年代、英国でラジオから流れて何度か聴いていた曲でした。
３０年ぶりに聴いた歌声でしだ🎵
今の時代は、直ぐにYou Tube で確認出来るし、歌詞までも確認出来る便利な時代になったものです。

女性シンガーの中では、エンヤは別格として、個人的には、ベリンダ・カーライル（Belinda Carlisle）の Heaven is a place on Earth、Circle in the sand、そして、Summer rain。
恋やら愛やらの歌詞だけど、意味不明のまま、よく聴いていました。
夏の雨上がりの日、意味もなく元気が出ました。
