昨日、オーストラリアからお越しのご家族のみなさまと三原山〜裏砂漠に行ってきました！
Yesterday, I went to Mt. Mihara - Ura Sabaku Desert with a family from Australia!
最初はうっすら霧が出ていたのですが、なんとか山の稜線は見えて何よりでした。
There was a light mist at first, but we managed to see the mountain ridge.
途中でガイド仲間に出会い、記念写真を撮ってもらいました！
We met a fellow guide on the way and had our picture taken!
初の来日で、京都の次の目的地が伊豆大島とのこと！
It was their first visit to Japan,
and their next destination after Kyoto was Izu Oshima!
京都の次に訪れる先が大島だなんてなんだか嬉しかったです。
I was kind of glad to know that Oshima was chosen as the destination after Kyoto.
オーストラリアには火山がないので、溶岩の風景が新鮮とのこと✨
As there are no volcanoes in Australia, they said the landscape with lava is novel.
ゴジラ岩のことを事前に調べてご存知で、ご紹介できてよかったです！
I’m glad I could introduce them to Godzilla Rock, as they knew about it!

皆さんとご相談し、今回は西火口展望所へ。
After consulting, we decided to go to the West Crater Observatory this time.
しばらくすると晴れわたり、空が青色に変身！
After a while, the sky cleared up and turned blue!
雲がなくなると日が直接あたり、
When the clouds disappeared and the sun shone directly,
裏砂漠へ向かう頃のはすっかり夏空に
by the time we headed to Ura Sabaku desert, it was a perfect summer sky.
やってきましたこの季節！
The season has arrived!
この色のコントラスト好きです！
I love the contrast of these colors!
ただ、気温が....
However, the temperature...
黒い大地に照りつけて、フルコースは真夏は歩けないなと再確認しました...
With the sun beating down on the black ground,
I was reminded that it's hard to walk the full course in the height of summer.
「The 裏砂漠」という感じの写真も撮れて
I was able to take some photos that truly capture the feel of Ura Sabaku desert.
シャボン玉もキレイに飛んでいました〜
The soap bubbles were flying beautifully as well.
でも、やはり、暑い季節にはありがたい「こもれびトンネル」ですね
However, the "Komorebi Tunnel" is indeed a blessing during the hot season.
人間にとって植物の存在は欠かせないことを再認識しました！
I was reminded once again that plants are essential to human existence!
道中もオーストラリアのお話など、いろいろお聞かせいただき
交流がありがたかったです。
I appreciated the chance to chat along the way, hearing various stories about Australia,
and thoroughly enjoyed our exchange!
黒い火山の島をご堪能いただけて何よりでした。
I'm delighted that they could fully experience the black volcanic island.
