ビートルズやカーペンターズがカバーしていますね。マーベレッツの動画ははじめて観ます。歌だけ聴いていると、「スピード」のように苦しげに歌い上げる黒人美少女グループかと思っていましたが、おばさん顔でのんびり楽そうに歌っています。「ルッカンシー（look and see）」が繰り返されて、最後の方で、「チェッカンシー（Check it and see）」になるのが可愛いですね。
それにしても、この名曲と名歌にスタジオで気のない手拍子をしている白人のクソ野郎どもに、ほんとうに腹が立ちますなあ。
右端の前歯が空いているメインボーカルがグラディス・ホートンさんなのですが、なんとつい最近まで歌っていたようで、ライブ映像がありました。コメント欄を読むと2005年のライブだそうです。1960年代とほとんど声が変わらず、驚きです。顔のアップを撮さないのは失礼ですが、コメント欄には口パクだからではないかと辛辣なことをいう人もいます。早いテンポについていけず、ときどき遅れたりしていますから、俺は歌っていると思います。
