CoSpace Rescueの質問・・・

CoSpace Rescue の OC Chair の Hanさんとメッセージのやりとりをしていて・・・

ついでだからと、ここぞとばかりに今までの疑問をぶつけてみました。

2016年のルールについての質問で

Q.1
2.12.2 "Figure 5: SUPER and SUPER+ objects" The size of the super object is written in the figure. The size is written as 5mm there. Other objects are more bigger.(see Appendix C:) Is the right size of Super object 5cm? (not 5mm ?)

Q.2
4.4.3 The title of the sentence is "3 minutes before each game" but it is written in the rule as follows If a team has not arrived at the game station "3 minutes after" the scheduled game time
before 3 min --> (start time) --> after 3min Which is it that a team will forfeit the game.?

Q.3
Here is two rules in ending a game early. 4.7.2 A team may decide to stop a round early if the lack of progress cannot be resolved. 4.9.4 Teams are not allowed to quit a game 5 minutes after the game started.
game start --> 5 min : team can stop a round early 5min --> 8min : team cannot stop a round early Is this my interpretation right?

Q1は、スーパーオブジェクトとスーパープラスオブジェクトの大きさです。5mmじゃなくて5cmのまちがいではないですか？

A.1 You are right, the size is 5cm

ということで、単なる間違い（表記ミス）でした。　ひとつスッキリ！

 

Q2は、チームが失格になるのは、スタート時刻の3分前、それとも３分後？

A.2 If a team has not arrived at the game station 3 minutes after the scheduled game time, the team will forfeit the game. The opponent will gain 500 points and be declared as the winner. (check with OC chair before this action)

ということで、競技時刻の3分後になってもチームが競技場所に来ないと、来ないチームは不戦敗になって、相手チームの勝ちになります。

 

Q3は、8分の競技時間で5分経過から8分経過までの3分間はリタイアできない、という理解だけど正しいですか？

A.3 A team is not allowed to terminate a game within the last 3 minutes. So that is 3min before end.

ということで、私の理解のとおりでした。ただ、なぜ５分～８分はリタイアできないの？　という疑問はありますが、私の英語力ではそれを伝えるのはできそうにありません・・・（苦笑）

 

あと、これは以前に紹介した CoSpace Rescue の紹介ビデオですが・・・

 

Understand CoSpace Rescue in 8 mins (Primary)

 

1分45秒位のところで、”There are 10cm high walls”（フィールドには高さ10cmの壁がある）と言っています。

しかし、ルールには、 ”The height of the wall is 20cm”（20cmの壁）と書かれています。

一体、どちらが正しいの？

と質問したら・・・

”Actually, there is no different between 10 and 20 cm Robot's US sensor is lower than 10cm, so the robot can detect either of them.”

と言う回答でした。

いや、確かに、壁が10cmの高さだろうと20cmの高さだろうと、ロボットは壁を認識して正しく避けると思います。

こんな細かい表現の差異なんて気にするのは、日本人だけだよ・・・ということなんでしょうね。（笑）
