紫式部

９月３日（水）

幼稚園に続く裏庭の辺りで「紫式部」が咲き盛っている。

亡き母が植えて以来半世紀、母はこの花が好きだった。

和菓子の様な美しさ、これ程の花は数年振りだ。

Murasaki shikibu (A Japanese beauty-berry) blooms around our backyard . 

My mother planted this flower half a century ago.
Mother liked this flower. It is the beauty such as the Japanese sweets.
We looked at such a beautiful flower since  several years. 

織部の銘々皿

９月２９日（火）

銀座・和光で織部銘々皿５枚を購入。

断捨離を考えなければならない年代だが誘惑には逆らえない。

美濃の陶工　君波延昌の作である。

取り敢えず、今夕は「白和え」を。

We purchased five pieces of  the plate of "Oribe" at Wako of Ginza.
It is the generation when we must think about throw away & tidy, 

but we cannot go against temptation to buy the plate.
This plate are product of Ensho Kiminami of the ceramist of Mino.

彼岸花

９月２８日（月）

門の片隅に今年も白い彼岸花が咲いた。

この２０年毎年咲き続けてくれる。

白い彼岸花でも曼殊沙華と言うのだろうか？

A white cluster amaryllis(Higanbana) bloomed in the corner of our gate this year.
It continued blooming every year for 20 years.
Can the white cluster amaryllis be called another name "Manjushage( Red-spider lily)"?

土瓶蒸し

９月２６日（土）　　

初物の松茸である。

土瓶蒸しと松茸ご飯で頂いた。

今年は豊作のはずが一転して不作との事、残念だ。

香り松茸味しめじと言うが松茸の香りに勝るものなし。

何故かパリのマルシェで買ったフランス松茸（実はポルチーニの一種）を思い出した。

We bought the Matsutake mushroom of the firstling.
It was the forecast of the good harvest, but it has been a bad harvest this year.
It is said that the Matsutake has good fragrance and the Shimeji taste is good.
However, no thing superior to the fragrance of the Matsutake mushroom.

By the way, I remembered that I bought a Matsutake (Cepe) in MARCHE of Paris

紫の朝顔

９月２４日（木）

水色の朝顔、ピンクの朝顔に続いて我家としては三番目、

紫の朝顔が咲き始めた。

「藤娘」と言う綺麗な名前を持っている。

九月も下旬になって朝顔が咲き始めるのも気候変動の所為か？

でも涼やかで気持ちの良い明け暮れである。

Following a light blue morning glory and a pink morning glory, 

a purple morning glory has begun to bloom.
It is the third morning glory for our garden.
It has the beautiful  name to be called "a wisteria girl-Fujimusume".
This morning glory began to bloom in the end of September 

probably because of a climate change?
But it is a comfortable season with cool air.

外食

９月１９日（土）

今春就職した新米の看護師の孫娘と夕食。コロナ禍で中々機会がなく漸く実現。

孫娘には幾つかの苦手なお采があるようで、その中の一つが鰻。

苦手な物を食べないで生きているのは勿体ないので、最近、一つずつトライしている由。

今日は、「鰻」だったのだ　“美味しい、美味しい”　と、満面の笑み

３蜜を避けながら久しぶりの外食で嬉しい限りだ。

We had a dinner with the granddaughter who got a job this spring.
She is a nurse of the essential worker.
We were not able to eat out at a corona evil.
While avoiding closeness, we were glad by eating out 

with granddaughter after a long absence.

椿の実

９月１４日（月）

我家には十二、三種類の椿があるが、実を付けたのを見るのは初めてだ。

かなりの大きさ、椿油はこんな実から採れるのだろうなあ。

There are 12～３ kinds of camellias in our garden, 

but we saw the camellia which produced the fruit for  first time.
The camellia oil will be produced from such a  considerable size fruit !.

ピンク朝顔

９月１４日（月）

漸く「私の朝顔が咲いた。たった一輪。でも嬉しい。」とミセスマスダが言っている。

花屋で苗を買ってから四カ月近く経つ。

巨大輪朝顔「紅」と名札にはある。

曇り空の涼しい日、萎れずに暗くなるまで咲いていた。

"Finally my morning glory bloomed . Only one flower. But  I am glad."

Mrs. Masuda said.
Nearly four months pass after buying a seedling at a flower shop.
Attached name card said [the huge ring morning glory "rouge"} .
It bloomed without withering up on a cool day of the cloudy sky 

until it became dark.

紫陽花

９月１２日（土）

梅雨時、玄関先で咲いていた濃いピンク色の紫陽花が

夏から秋への光を浴びて緑色に。

昔、南フランス・アルルの朝市で素敵な器に入ったハーブを買ったことがある。

プロヴァンスの土で作られたその素焼きの器に入れてみた。

There was the thick pink hydrangea which bloomed at our portal  in the rainy season.
This hydrangea got autumn sun shine and changed in green.
I bought herb packed in a a wonderful container at morning market 

of south France Arles in old days.
I arranged the hydrangea in the unglazed container made by soil of Province.

続・ご近所の朝顔

９月１１日（金）

８月２８日にアップしたご近所の朝顔。

今朝の朝顔の様子。花数が増えて地面を覆うように咲いている。

The morning glory at our neighbor which our blog introduced on August 28.
The state of the morning glory this morning.
It blooms that the number of the flowers increases and covers over the ground.

９月１日（火）

庭の片隅で朝顔が咲き始めた。

こぼれ種によるもの。小さな花だが小さいだけに愛おしい。

ミセスマスダが丹精している朝顔は未だ花を見せない。

八月は酷暑に耐えきれなかったのであろう、夕顔の幾つかの花は、莟の儘しおれてしまった。涼しくなってきたので、これからの花が待たれる。

A morning glory has begun to bloom in the unexpected spot  of our garden.
The species which flew from somewhere grew and bloomed.
It is a small flower, but is lovely because it is small.
The morning glory which Mrs. Masuda takes a great care not yet make to bloom.
Because of intense heat of August, her evening glory has withered up as a bud.
As It cooled down, the flower may bloom from now on.
