紫陽花

６月１日（火）

我家の裏庭では、紫陽花が花季（ハナドキ）を迎えている。

御近所の紫陽花も写させて頂いて、今日は紫陽花のオン・パレード。

The hydrangeas are  full bloom at our backyard of our house.
I also took the neighboring hydrangea in a photograph.
Therefor today's blog was hydrangeas on-parade.

菖蒲

５月３０日（日）

三十年程前、数種類の菖蒲を育てていたが、何時のまにか消えてしまった。

残念だとは思ったけれど、育て方が悪いのだろうと諦めていた。

それが、どういうわけだろう皐月の間から莟がスクーット立ち上がって

今朝、花を見せた。たった一輪だが嬉しさは格別。

We planted several kinds of iris (Shoubu) in my garden approximately 30 years ago. 

But the iris have disappeared while we did not notice.
Though we were disappointed, we thought that our care for iris would be bad.
A bud of the iris stood up from between the azalea which would be what kind of reason. 

Then it had bloomed this morning.  It is only one flower, but our  joy is particular.

白撫子

５月２７日（木）

白撫子が咲き始めた。

白い花を好むミセスマスダは、とても、愛おしいと喜んでいる。

A white dianthus(Shiro-Nadeshiko) has begun to bloom at our garden.

Mrs. Masuda loving white flowers  was pleased to the white dianthus 

which was very endearing sweetly.

稚鮎

５月２５日（火）

今日は稚鮎が手に入った。

早速天麩羅にしよう。

We got the young sweetfish(Chi-Ayu) today.
Let's deep-fry(Tenpura) the sweetfish promptly.

モンドリアン風

５月２４日（日）

ステイホーム中　絶えず作陶は続けていた。

久し振りにマスダ窯の作品を御披露する。

マグカップである。モンドリアンへのオマージュである。

Mr. Masuda continued the making pottery consistently even  stay homes period.
I will show you the works from "the MASUDA kiln" after long absence .
It is a mug cup. It is hommage to Mondrian.

山法師

５月２０日（木）

山法師が花時を迎えている。孫息子が誕生した折に記念樹として植えた。

孫はこの五月の誕生日には二十三歳に成る。

「四照花」とも表記され、四方を照らす花という事で広く愛されている。

花水木とは同属であるようだ。

The flower of "Yamaboushi" a sort of dogwood bloomed.
When a grandson was born, we planted it as a memorial tree.
The grandchild becomes 23 years old on a birthday of this May.
It is named "Shishouka" also.It is the meaning called the flower lighting up every direction.
"Yamaboushi"  seems to be the same sort of American dogwood.

オレンジダック

５月１７日（月） 

「母の日」に息子が届けてくれた食材で、今日は一週間遅れのディナー。

「エスカルゴ」。オーブンで焼くだけだが、美味！　美味！

フランス産マグレドカナール（鴨の胸肉）は大好物のオレンジダックに。

ミセスマスダは久し振りのオレンジダック作りだったが楽しみながら調理することが出来たそうだ。美味！　美味！

　

愛らしいエクレアはデザートに。

ピスタチオ、レモン、フランボワーズ、チョコレートの四つのテイストは

これまた、美味！　美味！

With the ingredients which a son sent in "Mother's Day", we  took the dinner for one week delay.
"An escargot." We only bake them with an oven, but Delicious!　 Delicious! 

The Breast of the duck from France was cooked  to "the orange duck" which we loved it.
Mrs. Masuda cooked orange duck dishes with  being a pleasure.　  Delicious　! Delicious!  

The lovely "eclair" on  dessert. A pistachio, a lemon, franc Boise and chocolate. 

Four tastes of are also Delicious!　 Delicious!

オリーブの花とレモンの花

５月１５日（土）  

息子が海外勤務の折に二鉢預って以来十余年、今年もオリーブは沢山の花を見せている。

それでも実るのは数えるほど。将に観賞用というところ。

The olive blooms many flowers this year.
However, there are really only few numbers of fruit at the season of autumn.
It is a tree for the admiration.

先日UPしたレモンの花、毎日、これでもか、これでもかという程花が散る。

花は２０００位かと思うが、毎日、毎日、掃ききれない程の花弁が落ちる。

初冬、見事なレモン２００個ほどが我々を楽しませてくれる。

The flower of the lemon which we showed with our Blog  the other day.
Every day, a lot of lemon flowers were gone and the petal of 2000 flowers 

scattered on the ground. We swept them busy every day.
In early winter, approximately 200 wonderful lemons will be our harvest.

プロシュート・メロン

５月１１日（火 ）

今日のアペタイザーはメロンにプロシュート。

庭から採ってきたレモンをたっぷり絞りそこへ黒コショウをこれもたっぷり挽いて頂く。

無花果の季節にはプロシュートフィッグに。これも美味しい。

A Prosciutto-Melon as  today's appetizer. We squeezed the lemon from our garden 

and the black pepper also on the Prosciutto-Melon.   This was so delicious.
It becomes Prosciutto-Fig in the season of the Fig.

母の日

５月１０日（月）

昨日は「母の日」。

息子達が会いに来てくれたり送り物を届けてくれたり・・・。

ミセスマスダは　”今年もとても幸せな心に残る日となった。本当に有り難う”　と。

大箱のクッキー。

picardのエクレアやエスカルゴ等々。何と鴨肉までも

鴨肉はミセスの大好物「オレンジダック」になって食卓に上がるようだ。

Yesterday was "Mother's Day."
Our sons came to meet her or sent a present with card for her.

The cookie of the big box. Eclair, escargot and duck from Picard.
Mrs. Masuda will cook "the orange duck" of the favorite with duck.
She had a very happy memorable day in this year as always.
We thank you very much.

あやめと藤の和菓子

５月８日（土）

あやめの和菓子である。

毎朝１０時半に抹茶を頂く習慣がついてもう５年になった。

季節に合せて頂く和菓子が楽しみを増している。

藤のお菓子も。

There are the Japanese Iris sweets and  wisteria sweets.

Last 5 years, we have a habit to drink Matcha in the every morning.
Having a seasonal Japanese sweets with Matcha give us additional joy for our life.

新茶

５月６日（木）

今年も母親の実家から「八十八夜の新茶」が届けられた。桐の御茶箱に入っている。

おしゃれえー！！

季節を味わえ有難い事である。

茶業もニッチ産業になって久しいが従弟が牧之原で頑張っている。

The first picked tea of this year  was sent from our parents' family.
The tea was in the package of the paulownia. The package is good sense!
We were glad that we could feel the season with the tea.
The tea business becomes the niche industry but our cousin works tea business hard in Makinohara-city Shizuoka.

レモンの花

５月４日（火）

レモンが花盛りだ。２０００位咲いている。

毎年、３００位が結実し、その内１００個くらいがまだ小指の指先程の大きさで

青いまま落ちてしまう。

こうして毎年２００個位が実るのだが今年もその気配。

The flowers of the lemon are at their best now.
2000 flowers bloom.
300 flowers become young fruit every year.
100 of them fall from the branch without growing big.
Around 200 become the big fruit every year.
