とろとろわらび和三盆

１月２８日

 

年初の或る日、休暇で帰国中だった次男が品名「とろとろわらび和三盆」を持ってやって来た。

ミセスマスダは余りの美味しさに涙ぐんでしまったそうだ。

小泉舞衣さんが営んでいた品川の御店はこの一月閉じてしまった由、これからは何処で手に入るのだろう？

　　（此の記事は、ちょっと前の事だが余りの美味にUPしたしたくて）

The second son came over with  "melty bracken wasanbon" using only 70g of "bracken powder"to get from 10 kg of roots of the bracken.

 

オイスターバー

１月２０日

 

品川駅の「グランドセントラル・オイスターバー」でランチ。生牡蠣の美味しいのに驚いた。

 

It was a lunch in "Grand central oyster bar" of JR Shinagawa Station.

I was surprised that raw oysters were so delicious.

七福神

１月１０日

 

毎年１月１０日は虎ノ門金毘羅さんの七福神お出ましの日。

 

January 10 is a day of the Hichifukujin (Seven Deities of Good Luck) appearing of Toranomon Konpira Shrine every year.

誕生日

１月８日

 

１月４日はミスターマスダの８９回目の誕生日。

息子たちから様々の祝意を受けた。

よくもまあここまで年を重ねてきたものだ。

当面の目標は卒寿越え。

January 4 is the 89th birthday of Mr. Masuda.

I received various blessings from sons.

I repeated age and lived long enough.

 I want to live for Sotsuju at least.

元旦

令和６年元旦

 

御元日は息子たち家族がやって来て恒例の宴。

ミスターマスダは久々に着物で。孫達はグランパの和服姿を惚れ惚れと見詰めていた。

長男・次男と我等四人でも一枚。この四人だけの写真を撮るのは何年振りだろう？

とても良い記念となった。

Mr. Masuda wore a kimono for the first time in a while. His grandchildren gazed in admiration at Grandpa's traditional Japanese attire.

With the eldest son, the second son, and the four of us together, it has been how many years since we took a photo with just these four people?

It became a truly wonderful and memorable occasion.

令和６年 初詣

１月２日

 

 

令和６年の初詣は「虎ノ門 金刀比羅宮」

甘酒を御馳走になり清々しい気持ちになりました。

The first shrine visit on Reiwa 6th was to "Toranomon Kotohira Shrine."

I was treated to Amazake, and it made me feel refreshed.
