竹林から福田美術館

１０月７日（木）

天龍寺北門を出るとそこは竹林。竹林を登り切った所を左に折れて下ってゆくと

嵐山公園で桂川に出る。桂川にかかる渡月橋の畔に今回の旅の一つの目標「福田美術館」

がある。

There was Bamboo Forest(Chikurin) when we left the Tenryu-ji temple north gate.   

We enjoyed the walk of the Bamboo Forest where only bamboo grew thick. It was 

excellent scenery. We arrived in Katsura-river after we went through the Bamboo Forest.

One of the destination of this trip was "Fukuda art museum" in the ridge of Togetsu-kyo 

Bridge spanning Katsura-river. "The picture of Jakuchu Ito" of the exhibition  was impressive.

天龍寺

１０月７日（木）  

四ヶ日目は京都グランビアホテルの朝食から始まる。朝ビールと半熟玉子はたまらない。

朝一番で嵐山。先ず天龍寺。八方睨みの雲龍図の天井画の出迎えを受ける。

方丈では達磨図。何と言って借景の曹源池庭園。酔芙蓉の美しさも格別である。

 Our trip was the 4th day at Kyoto.  

 The first thing in the morning we visited "Tenryuuji-Temple" of Arashiyamoa.

The ceiling painting  of the dragon(Unryu-Zu) of "the all-direction gaze" was splendid.
The picture of the Dharma doll displayed in the room of the chief priest was powerful.
The garden of the temple was a splendid with a mountain behind as a part 

of the scenery.
The drunkenness cotton rose(Sui-Fuyo) which bloomed in the garden is particular. 

A color of the flower changes like a drunkard.

大塚国際美術館

１０月６日（水）

三ヶ日目午後からは大塚国際美術館見学。世界中の名画が一堂に集められている。

全部見て歩くと４キロになる。ただし展示されている絵画は原寸大の陶板で作った

レプリカである。

先ずシステーナ礼拝堂には度肝を抜かれた。

またターナーの絵に囲まれ至福の時を過ごせた。

ゲルニカとは何年ぶりの対面か。ドラクロアも良かった。

レプリカとは知りつつ大いに楽しめた。

夕方長距離バスで京都に向かったが途中で瀬戸内海に沈む夕日を拝めた。

今日は綺麗な日の出と日の入りが見れて感謝感謝。

We observed Otsuka Museum of Art on the afternoon. 

The Masterpieces of the world are collected in the hall.
When we  see around them, we have to walk  4 kilos meters.

But the displayed picture are the replica which was made full-scale ceramic board.

At first I watched Sistina chapel and was surprised.
In addition, we were able to spend happy time among pictures of Turner.
How many years is it since looking at Guernica last?
Delacroix was good, too.
I could enjoy them very much while knowing them being the replica.
 We went to Kyoto by long-distance bus in the evening, but saw the setting sun  which 

in the Seto Island Sea on the way.
We could see the beautiful sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening.
