あっ、これ知ってる "sic" だ。と思って選択肢を見たらありません。
1. i.e. 2. stet 3. post 4. e.g.
答は校正に使用する「イキ」を意味するstet.
じゃあ、sic は何だっけ。
やはり校正で使う原文の「まま」という意味でした。
ゴシップ記事でスターの発言をそのまま引用したりする時に、文法的に間違っていたり、新語のようなことばの後にカッコでsicと書いてあることがあります。
ついでに他の選択肢も。

よく混同します。
２００７年のビジネス英会話はヴィニエットに出てきた表現を使って英文を作るコーナーがありました。
会社は、そのエグゼクティブの身柄を無事取り戻すのと引き換えに、誘拐犯の要求に応じた。
解答例は
The corporation agreed to the demands of the kidnappers in exchange for the safe return of the executive.
"in exchange for" を使う問題だったんですが、最後のfor が出てきませんでした。
この後ドラマ「ミディアム」を見たら、さっそく in exchange for と聞こえてきたではありませんか。
英語字幕でチェックしてみました。
