クリスマス・カード代わりのメールを出そうと思って、ドイツの友人の名前を検索したら、何と二か月前の私の誕生日にバースデイ・カードを送ってくれていた。
写真家としての腕もある友人は、ドイツ東部のWarenという街の港の写真をカードにしてくれた。

The world has become unsafe and strange during the last years, but the old connections still exist.
I'm quite well - and my family too.
The pic shows the harbour of Waren, a small town in the north eastern part of Germany.
It is situated at the great lake "Müritz", and at gthe moment it is a region with comparartively few corona-cases.
I wonder what will be in winter, - so many people are so careless and selfish meanwhile.
