Heilen, Täuschen, Demokratie / Waldeffekt (癒し、欺き、民主主義)

Koncept and choreography: Chikako Kaido 皆藤千香子

First supprise is Kristin Schster's eye-grabbing movement, extremely high speed but each body region does not have relationship each other, which reminds me Polish writer Stanisław Lem's novel Solaris. Above the ocean of the planet Solaris there emerges huge image of child face, but eyes, mouth and cheek moves separately which drives an astronaut muddled. And Kristin is strangely combined with Antonio Stella like a disentanglement puzzle. On the one hand Jascha Viehstadt explains about parallel world. We can make different world by making our own decision.

Then they begin to make some social relationships - it may be funny procedure. Jasha and Kristin are doing something, and Antonio walks round the stage. We cannot judge or even understand whether their actions have any purpose or not. A glass of water Jasha holds in his hand may be a kind of yoke to our society. Anyhow everything is a society, everything is a human behavior. They continue to seek connection each other, including burden onto the other person.

Demonstration scene is projected onto the wall behind the dancers. Of course we can understand they are acquiring to take part in those social movement, but surprisingly the video changes to outer space. For making the choreography, Chikako Kaido has speculated about Michel Foucault's philosophy especially Panopticon. It is designed to observe all prisoners at once and each other - then we all have destiny to be prisoner, or social involvement means to become prisoner? Dancers come back to the same procedures again, but somewhat different from previous ones. Partly it must be the result of amazing dissimilation of the video. Also noteworthy contrabass sound gives vibration to their existence way in the so-called society.
