VIENNA CHRISTMAS MARKETS BRING CHEERウィーン伝統のクリスマスマーケット

People in Vienna are getting into the holiday spirit.
The city's famed Christmas markets opened Saturday when a giant tree in front of the city hall was lit up. The tree was brought from the Salzburg area and is fitted with 2,000 LED lights.

The traditional markets in the Austrian capital date back to around the 14th century. More than 150 shops are offering Christmas decorations, food, and mulled wine.

The markets are open till December 26th. More than 3.5 million visitors are expected.
