what has not changed

When I happened to look up to the sky tonight, I found the Big Dipper, which is a representative constellation in spring, above my head.

Because I have few chances to look up to the sky every day, that was a precious moment.

I was interested in astronomy when I was young, and I would often watch stars.

Though I am different from what I was, the constellation I watched tonight was the same as what it used to be.

That is why a break like the GW is meaningful for me, which gives me a chance to notice what I don't always notice.

今日から5連休です！

このGWは、家族サービスはもちろんのこと、今月末のTOEICに向けて“TOEIC三昧”になろうと思っています。

ここ数年、TOEIC満点を取るために、敢えてTOEIC向けの勉強はしませんでした。授業で使う教材研究を深くやったり、洋書を読んだり、CNNを観たりと、実生活の中で使う英語で、実用的に英語力を向上させ、その結果としてTOEIC満点を目論んできました。しかし、ここ数年は900点以上で点数は安定しているものの、新たな breakthrough は起こりませんでした。

最近、ブログを通じてTOEIC満点を目指す方々の勉強方法を拝見して気づいたのですが、貪欲にTOEIC対策の勉強をした方が、結果を残されているのです。

よくよく考えてみると、私が英語力をここまで伸ばせたのは、TOEICがあったからこそ。ここで原点回帰し、自身29回目となる今月のTOEICで990点満点を取得して、TOEICに“恩返し”をしたいと思います。

もう綺麗事をいうのは止め、TOEIC対策の勉強にどっぷりと浸かって、新たな breakthrough を体現します。
