Donald Trump has slammed suggestions in a new tell-all book that he's mentally unfit to be president. He says the book is a "work of fiction" and describes himself as a "very stable genius."
"Fire and Fury" went on sale Friday. It quotes White House aides who question Trump's competence. Author Michael Wolff says all the people around the president doubt his intelligence and fitness for office.
Trump tweeted that his two greatest assets are mental stability and being smart. He says he went from being a successful businessman to top TV star and then to the presidency. Trump says that shows he's not only smart but a genius. The president has questioned Wolff's credibility.
"Fire and Fury" sold out in many bookstores the day it was published. It's now at the top of Amazon's best-seller list.
