ORIGINAL EMOJI ON DISPLAY AT MoMAニューヨーク近代美術館で絵文字の展示

You may not realize it, but you could be carrying around some modern art. To see it, all you have to do is look at your phone, or you can check out the Museum of Modern Art's new "emoji" exhibition in New York.
The museum added the original set of 176 emoji to its permanent collection. The pictograms made their debut in 1999 for Japanese mobile provider NTT Docomo. The simple images quickly gained popularity as a way to express emotions on the limited screen space of mobile devices.
A collection specialist at the museum says the designs changed the behavior of people around the world.

憲問第十四の四十二

【漢文】
子張曰、書云、高宗諒陰三年不言、何謂也、子曰、何必高宗、古之人皆然、君薨、百官總己以聽於冢宰三年。

【書き下し文】
子張(しちょう)が曰わく、書に云う、高宗(こうそう)、諒陰(りょうあん)三年言(ものい)わずとは、何の謂(い)いぞや。子曰わく、何ぞ必ずしも高宗のみならん。古(いにしえ)の人皆然(しか)り。君薨(こう)ずれば、百官、己を総(す)べて以て冢宰(ちょうさい)に聴くこと三年なり。

【現代語訳】
子張(しちょう)が尋ねました、
「書経には、"殷の高宗(こうそう)は喪に服して三年間言葉を話さなかった。" とあります。どうしてでしょうか?」
孔子は、
「高宗だけではない、昔の人は皆そうしていたのだ。君主が亡くなった時は、すべての家臣は仕事をやり終えて跡継ぎの君が三年喪に服している間は摂政の命に従ったのだ。」

【English】
Zi Zhang asked, "In the Shu Jing, 'Gao Zhong never spoke for three years in mourning' Why did not he speak?" Confucius replied, "Not only Gao Zhong. All of the ancient people never spoke in mourning. When a monarch passed away, all officers finished their work and obeyed the regent's order for three years."

『論語』とは
読んで字の如く「論じ語る」、孔子と弟子達や要人達との間に交された対話録。
『論語』は私たちの生き方の原点を見つめた思索の宝庫であり、人間性を磨く叡智が凝縮した永遠の古典。
読めば読むほど胸に深く沁み込む簡潔な言葉の数々。
『孟子』『大学』『中庸』と併せて儒教における「四書」の一つに数えられる。
全20編（学而第一～堯曰第二十） 構成され、編の名称は各編の最初の二文字を採ったものであり内容上の意味はない。
したがって、学而第一から順に読む必要はなくどこから読んでもかまわない。

・一口紹介　
主要燃料が石炭だった当時から、石油の将来性を予感していた若き日の国岡鐡造（岡田准一）は、北九州・門司で石油業に乗り出すが、その前には国内の販売業者、欧米の石油会社（石油メジャー）など、常に様々な壁が立ちふさがり、行く手を阻んだ。
しかし、鐡造はどんなに絶望的な状況でも決して諦めず、それまでの常識を覆す奇想天外な発想と、型破りの行動力、何よりも自らの店員（＝部下）を大切にするその愛情で、新たな道を切り拓いていった。
その鐡造の姿は、敗戦後の日本において、さらなる逆風にさらされても変わることはなかった。そしてついに、敗戦の悲嘆にくれる日本人に大きな衝撃を与える"事件"が発生する。
