シアトルのホストマザー Judy から息子に送られたプレゼントのお礼に、息子が Judy の似顔絵と、「I LOVE JUDY. I LOVE SEATTLE.」とメッセージを書いてくれました。

私も Judy にお礼の手紙を書きました。

Thank you for being considerate of Eigo.
It was a precious opportunity for him to talk with you in English on the phone. Since then, he tries to speak English out spontaneously.
To experience other cultures is important for mutual understanding, especially in a global society.
