香取神社（亀戸七福神 No.1)

私が東京での単身赴任時代に巡った七福神を紹介していきます。
第四陣は「亀戸七福神」です。

創立は、中臣鎌足が東国へきたとき、この亀島に船をよせて太刀をひとふりおさめて旅の安泰を祈ったことが始まりであると伝えられ、鎮祭は、天智天皇の４年（665）と伝えられる区内で最も古い神社。
また、平将門の乱のとき、俵藤太秀郷が当社に戦勝を祈り、祈願成就の後、弓矢を奉納し、以後武運長久を祈ることが多くなったといわれる。
この古事に因む祭「勝矢祭」が、毎年５月５日に行われている。
