PANDA CUBS EXPAND THEIR HORIZONS 双子のパンダ 順調に成長

A pair of cuddly creatures in western Japan got their first glimpse of sunshine Friday. Two giant panda cubs emerged from their den and were greeted by a throng of visitors.
The sisters are named Ouhin and Touhin. They ventured outside for the first time on Friday. The cubs were born at the Adventure World in Wakayama Prefecture in December. The twins are making the most of their newfound freedom. Both now weigh more than nine kilograms, 50 times their birth weight.

The pandas have a limited tolerance for summer heat, so they'll head back inside when the temperature starts to rise.
