TRUMP'S FIRST MONTHトランプ大統領就任1か月

The U.S. president is getting some pushback from his own party. Republican Senator John McCain said Donald Trump's administration is in disarray. And his job approval rating is the lowest in history at the one-month mark.
But Trump is stressing that after a month in office, he is having a positive impact on the economy.

(Donald Trump / U.S. President)
"We have taken major steps during the first few weeks of my administration to remove wasteful regulations and get our people back to work."

Trump hammered out protectionist economic policies after his inauguration. He also announced a withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade agreement. Last Friday, he said his government would impose a "heavy penalty" on American companies if they transfer plants abroad.
Some of his actions have caused mass protests, namely his ban on immigration from seven Muslim majority countries. Protesters say the measure constitutes racial discrimination, and a court decision had the ban suspended.
