French sheep farmers have taken to the streets of Paris. They're trying to draw attention to the growing number of wolf attacks on their livestock.
About 250 shepherds from across the country took part in Thursday's demonstration. Wolves had disappeared from France in the 1930s, but the animal began re-entering the country from Italy about two decades ago.
Numerous attacks on sheep have been reported in recent years. And some of the protesters entered the agriculture ministry office, carrying lambs to demand that something be done.

"Wolves are a big problem for us. If nothing is done, the number of wolves is expected to increase nationwide rapidly."
Wolves are an internationally protected species. So far, the French government has failed to come up with effective measures against them.
