木山/捷平
1904・3・26~1968・8・23。小説家。岡山県の生まれ。1929年、詩集『野』を自費出版。33年、太宰治等と「海豹」創刊。
34年、「青い花」同人。39年、最初の作品集『抑制の日』を刊行。44年、満洲開発公社嘱託として長春に赴き、45年8月、現地で応召。
敗戦後長春で難民となる。この間の経緯は『耳学問』『大陸の細道』(芸術選奨)『長春五馬路』等に書かれる。96年、木山捷平文学賞創

【読んだ理由】
わが母校岡山県立矢掛高校の大先輩に敬意を表して。
私が高校在校時に古文を教わった定金恒次（元倉敷市立短大教授）先生が山陽新聞（2014/8/5）で木山文学の魅力を紹介されていた記事を拝見して。

【コメント】
著者の言う「備中の草深い田舎」に、著者は1904年（明治二十七年）、私は1950年（昭和二十五年）、約半世紀後に生をうけて育った。
同じ風土の中で育ち、すべての短編が懐かしく、心地よい。
そのお名前だけは存じあげていたが、これを機に全作品を読破しよう企んでいる。

EMISSIONS INCREASED IN 2013 「温室効果ガス排出量 過去最大に」

Japan emitted the largest amount of greenhouse gases on record during the last fiscal year. Officials at the Environment Ministry blame the rise on increased emissions of carbon dioxide from manufacturing and other plants. They also point out the increased use of fossil fuels since the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster.
Preliminary figures released by the ministry on Thursday show the country produced close to 1.4 billion tons of heat-trapping gases in fiscal 2013. That's an increase of 1.6 percent from the figure a year earlier and the most since comparable data became available in 1990.
The government is trying to cut emissions by 3.8 percent from 2005 levels by fiscal 2020. It set the target after considering the fact that all the country's nuclear plants remain offline. However, fiscal 2013 emissions represent a 1.3 percent increase from 2005 levels.
Ministry officials plan to strengthen measures to achieve the reduction goal. They say they will promote the introduction of renewable energy sources and conservation measures.

【通釈】
(孔子がおっしゃいました)
「子羔(しこう)は愚かで、曽参(そうしん)はのろま、子張(しちょう)は見栄っ張りで、子路(しろ)は粗暴だ。」

【English】

"Zi Gao is foolish. Zeng Sheng is imbecile. Zi Zhang is ostentatious. Zi Lu is rough."

『論語』とは

読んで字の如く「論じ語る」、孔子と弟子達や要人達との間に交された対話録。
『論語』は私たちの生き方の原点を見つめた思索の宝庫であり、人間性を磨く叡智が凝縮した永遠の古典。
読めば読むほど胸に深く沁み込む簡潔な言葉の数々。
『孟子』『大学』『中庸』と併せて儒教における「四書」の一つに数えられる。

広重の風景画には月の出ているものが多く、浮世絵の世界では俗に「光りもの」と呼ばれている。春夏秋は必ずといっていいほど満月が描かれ、柔らかく人間に親しみをもたせる。冬は三日月が描かれ、寂しさと身にしまる感じを見せる。構図の巧みさにより、これほど人間の心に寄り添った月を描いた画家は、広重のほかにいない。現代の彫師・摺師による復刻版画として再現しました。

歌川 広重（うたがわ ひろしげ、寛政9年（1797年） - 安政5年9月6日（1858年10月12日）は、浮世絵師。本名安藤鉄蔵。
江戸の定火消しの安藤家に生まれ家督を継ぎ、その後に浮世絵師となった。
かつては安藤広重（あんどう ひろしげ）とも呼ばれたが、安藤は本姓、広重は号であり、両者を組み合わせて呼ぶのは不適切で、広重自身もそう名乗ったことはない。
また、ゴッホやモネなどの画家に影響を与え、世界的に著名な画家である。
