冉有曰、夫子爲衛君乎、子貢曰、諾、吾將問之、入曰、伯夷叔齊何人也、子曰、古之賢人也、曰怨乎、曰、求仁而得仁、叉何怨乎、出曰、夫子夫爲也、

【読み下し】
冉有が曰わく、夫子は衛の君を為（たす）けんか。子貢が曰わく、諾（だく）、吾れ将にこれを問わんとす。入りて曰わく、伯夷・叔斉は何人ぞや。曰わく、古（いにしえ）の賢人なり。曰わく、怨（うらみ）たるか。曰わく、仁を求めて仁を得たり。又た何ぞ怨みん。出でて曰わく、夫子は為（たす）けじ。

【通釈】
冉有が、「うちの先生は衛の殿様を助けられるだろうか。」と言ったので、子貢は「よし、私がお訊ねしてみよう」といって、［先生の部屋に］入って行って訊ねた、「伯夷と叔斉とはどういう人物ですか。」先生「昔の勝れた人物だ」「［君主の位につかなかったことを］後悔したでしょうか。」「仁を求めて仁を得たのだから、また何を後悔しよう。」［子貢は］退出すると「うちの先生は助けられないだろう」といった。

【English】
Yen Yu said, "Is our Master for the ruler of Wei?" Tsze-kung said, "Oh! I will ask him."
He went in accordingly, and said, "What sort of men were Po-i and Shu-ch'i?" "They were ancient worthies," said the Master. "Did they have any repinings because of their course?" The Master again replied, "They sought to act virtuously, and they did so; what was there for them to repine about?" On this, Tsze-kung went out and said, "Our Master is not for him."

『論語』とは
読んで字の如く「論じ語る」、孔子と弟子達や要人達との間に交された対話録。
『論語』は私たちの生き方の原点を見つめた思索の宝庫であり、人間性を磨く叡智が凝縮した永遠の古典。
読めば読むほど胸に深く沁み込む簡潔な言葉の数々。
『孟子』『大学』『中庸』と併せて儒教における「四書」の一つに数えられる。
全20編（学而第一～堯曰第二十） 構成され、編の名称は各編の最初の二文字を採ったものであり内容上の意味はない。
したがって、学而第一から順に読む必要はなくどこから読んでもかまわない。

2:三世瀬川菊之丞の田辺文蔵の妻おしづ
この絵は寛政六年五月、都座の「花菖蒲文禄曽我」に出場する三世瀬川菊之丞の田辺文蔵の妻おしづの役であるが、田辺文蔵は石井兄弟の仇討ちを助け暮らしの困窮にたえる役であるが、その妻おしづも夫とともに苦難に沈む役で、病身であるために鉢巻をしている。
この絵は写楽の女形を描いた図のうちでは一、二を争う名作といえる。
それは役柄の寂しさの出ていることもさりながら、三世菊之丞の女形としての芸質をあますところなく描いているからである。
ふっくらとした顔面、悠揚とした芸質がにじみ出ている姿態描写はただただ感銘の深さを感ずる。
ことにこの絵で驚くべき配色美をみせている。
それは写楽が最も好む色彩と思われる、紅と草の二色の下着である。
それは僅かな部分でありながら全体の色彩を引き締めて、しかも女形としての派手さもうかがわせている技巧を示している。
まことに写楽の独特な感覚の豊かさを見せた作品である。

三世瀬川菊之丞は、天明、寛政時代の名女形で、座頭にもなった。二世菊之丞の養子で、大阪の振付師市山七十郎の二男として生まれた。初名は市山富三郎、二世の養子となってから瀬川富三郎と改め、安永三年十一月に三代目をついだ。年ごとに名声を上げ、江戸随一の女形となった。浜村屋大名神さまともいわれた。享和元年に俳名の路考を芸名とし、文化四年に仙女と改名、文化七年十二月、六十歳で没した。

東洲斎 写楽（とうしゅうさい しゃらく、旧字体：東洲齋 寫樂、生没年不詳）は、江戸時代中期の浮世絵師。
寛政6年（1794年）5月から翌年の寛政7年3月にかけての約10ヶ月の期間内に約145点余の錦絵作品を出版し、忽然と浮世絵の分野から姿を消した正体不明の謎の浮世絵師として知られる。
本名、生没年、出生地などは長きにわたり不明であり、その正体については様々な研究がなされてきたが、現在では阿波の能役者斎藤十郎兵衛（さいとう じゅうろべえ、1763年? - 1820年?）だとする説が有力となっている。

「昨日よりも今日、今日よりも明日・・・ほんの少しでもいいから、自分が成長している。そういうことを信じられなくなったら、アスリートは終わりだと思うんですよね」

【コメント】
子供の頃はプロレスを良く見ていたが、最近格闘技は見ないので、主人公の試合も見たことがない。
一度是非見たいと思ったが、既に引退されており残念だ。

四季折々の花に彩られる、日本有数の観音霊場

初瀬山の中腹に建つ長谷寺は、西国三十三観音霊場第八番札所として、古くから多くの人々の信仰を集めてきました。
本尊の十一面観世音菩薩立像（重要文化財）は、奈良時代に徳道上人が人々を救うため、霊験あらたかな楠で造立したのがはじまりといわれます。
右手に地蔵菩薩の持ち物である錫杖（しゃくじょう）を持っていますが、これはこの観音さまが現世利益をもたらす十一面観音の役割と、苦悩する人々を救済する地蔵菩薩の役割を併せ持つしるしとされ、独特の形式から「長谷寺式十一面観世音菩薩」と呼ばれてきました。
別名「花の御寺」と称されるこの美しい山寺では、若き修行僧たちが日々厳しい修行に励んでいます。
「人々の祈りを届けたい」、「人々の苦しい時に手助けしたい」――純粋で真っすぐな心が、忘れてはならない大切なものを連綿と伝えてきたのかもしれません。
