不明。

【印象に残った一行】
日本における英語の勉強は、文法に始まり、文法にあけくれます。そうしているうちに、大部分の人たちは「英文法」にねじふせられてしまって、立ち上がることさえできなくなってしまいます。

【コメント】
わたしもねじ伏せられた者の一人だが、それより高校時代に英文法をgrammarと呼ぶようになり、何時も頭の中に同音異語のグラマー、full-bosomed（女性の体について大きな胸と気持ちの良い曲線を持つさま）が頭の大部分を占めて、英文法の勉強が阻害された。

【印象に残った一行】
カウンセリングの核心とは、何か。
それは、一言で言えば、
相談に来た人(クライアント）が、人生のさまざまな問題に直面し、悩み苦しみ、どうすればいいか考えあぐねて、みずからのこころの声に耳を傾けていく。それを通して、多くの気付きや学びを得て、人間としての成長（自己成長）をとげていく。この苦しみ、人生の暗い闇の中で、自分自身を見つめていくプロセスに寄り添っていくことに、カウンセリングの核心、醍醐味が存在する。

カウンセリングとは、「悩み苦しみを通しての自己成長」を援助する方法です。

【コメント】
一般的には心理関係では相談に来た人を「クライエント」というが著者は「クライアント」と言いっている。

BLATTER TO STEP DOWN ＦＩＦＡ会長が辞任表明

One of the most powerful men in the world of soccer says he'll step down. FIFA President Sepp Blatter was re-elected just days ago for a fifth term. His announcement comes amid a growing corruption scandal.

"My re-election does not seem to be supported by everybody in the world of football."

U.S. authorities indicted 14 individuals, including two FIFA vice presidents, for an alleged multi-million dollar bribe scheme. Blatter denied involvement and said he had no concerns about being investigated.
A British newspaper reported that Swiss prosecutors plan to question him. They want to ask about the allocation of the 2018 and 2022 World Cup finals to Russia and Qatar. U.S. media quote sources as saying Blatter's top aide has been linked to wrongdoing.
Officials say the election to choose a new president will be held in December at the earliest.

顔淵第十二の十三

【漢文】
子曰、聽訟吾猶人也、必也使無訟乎。

【書き下し文】
子曰わく、訟(うったえ)を聴くは、吾(われ)猶(な)お人のごときなり。必ずや訟え無からしめんか。

【通釈】
孔子がおっしゃいました、
「私とて人並みに訴訟を裁くことができるであろうが、それよりは訴訟自体を減らしたいと思う。」

【English】
Confucius said, "I can judge a case as well as others. But I would rather reduce cases."

『論語』とは

読んで字の如く「論じ語る」、孔子と弟子達や要人達との間に交された対話録。
『論語』は私たちの生き方の原点を見つめた思索の宝庫であり、人間性を磨く叡智が凝縮した永遠の古典。
読めば読むほど胸に深く沁み込む簡潔な言葉の数々。
『孟子』『大学』『中庸』と併せて儒教における「四書」の一つに数えられる。
全20編（学而第一～堯曰第二十） 構成され、編の名称は各編の最初の二文字を採ったものであり内容上の意味はない。
したがって、学而第一から順に読む必要はなくどこから読んでもかまわない。
