天祖神社（亀戸七福神 No.5)

私が東京での単身赴任時代に巡った七福神を紹介していきます。
第四陣は「亀戸七福神」です。

・最寄駅　ＪＲ総武線（東武亀戸線）「亀戸」駅　徒歩１８分

・コメント　
創立年代は明らかでないが、推古天皇の時代に建てられ、聖徳太子の神体がまつられていたと云われている。
また、天正年間（1573～）悪病が大流行したとき、織田信長がこの神社で流鏑馬の行事を行わせたところ、たちまち収まったので、以来病気を治す神社として有名になった。
現在でも毎年９月１６日の祭事として、子どもによる歩射（びしゃ）が行われている。
