コメントがすばらしい。
A stronger phrasing is to give "your word" + "that" you will do this.
The future tense is established with "we will show you the final booklist" and this is presented in the present tense after "before."
"I will eat dinner before I go for a walk."
You can also use the continuous form (ING): "I will eat dinner before going for a walk."
So, you could also have said: "...we will show you the final booklist before publishing it."

この修正に対するコメントもすばらしい。
Never use "we Japanese" in conversations with non-Japanese people. It's weird phrasing in English and makes you appear arrogant, as if you are now speaking on behalf of the whole Japanese nation. I've never heard anyone else of any other nationality say "We + nationality" because it really does make the person appear to be speaking on behalf of the country, like a president or prime minister or King. Just say "as we are not..." and then refer to "Japanese people" in general.
"We + nationality"はその国を代表する言い方のようで、その国の人でない人に対しては傲慢に聞こえる。
いや、考えたこともないですが、その通りです（そして会話では何度か絶対使っていたと思う。申し訳ございません！）
こういうことも教えてもらえるので、すごくありがたいです。

現在、How to Be Humanの著者、Jory Flemingさんへのインタビューを進めているが、わたしの質問を英語便に見てもらったところ、次の指摘があった。
Even though you’ve got a reliable editor and writer in Lyric Winik, as she writes states in the book, publishing How to Be Human was fiercely difficult. However, at the same time both of you seem to have really enjoyed writing this book. While translating, I sometimes could not help laughing at your interesting comments like we see in “Talking about Likes and Dislikes.” Please let us know what was most enjoyable and most challenging for you in writing this?
このコメントが実にすばらしい。
You need the preposition "in" here. We say "You have found a good person + in + NAME.
" I think that the USA had a terrible president in Trump."
It's best to say this strongly by using "states."
It's always "sometimes" as one word, meaning occasionally.
We must "write" + something, so use "this" to refer to the book.

昨日のGetUpEnglishでは、連続テレビ小説『カムカムエヴリバディ』(毎週月～土曜朝8:00-8:15ほか、NHK総合ほか※土曜は月～金曜の振り返り)のがオダギリジョー演じる大月錠一郎の名ゼリフを英語で紹介した。
いつものように英語便にネイティブ・チェックをお願いしたが、そのコメントがすばらしく、大変勉強になった。本日のGetUpEnglishでは英語便の講師のそのコメントを紹介しよう。
それぞれの英文の上に書いたものがわたしの提出訳、下が英語便講師の修正案である。
「そやから僕にはわかるんや。五十嵐くんは、ひなたのことを大事に思ってくれてる」
01.That’s why I know how good well you take care of my daughter.
01. We do not do something "good." We do it "well." "I know how well this care home takes care of all its residents."
do wellの使い方が確認できる説明だ。単純なことだが、間違えないと学べないし、間違いを指摘され、例を挙げて使い方を示してもらうことで身につく。
That’s why I know how well you take care of my daughter.
「暗闇にかすかな光が見えた。るいの手をつかんで歩き始めた道の向こうに。そしたら、生まれてきてくれた。まぶしい光の塊みたいなひなたが」
02. I saw a dim light in the dark beyond the road and I set on the road with holding Rui’s hand. Then my baby was born, a bright clump of light.
02. This is unclear because it's one sentence with three actions taking place (see a dim light/the road I set on/holding his hand). The best possible correction I can see here is to change this to: "I saw a dim light in the dark beyond the road. I then SET OUT on the road WHILE holding Rui's hand." This is now two sentences and the phrasal verb "set out" is used. It means to begin a journey. "While" is used to indicate two actions happening at the same time (set out on the journey and holding his hand)
andをはさんで、Iではじまる文をつづけてしまったので、どうかなと思っていたが、やっぱり修正された。理由説明もありがたい。
これはこのように修正された。
I saw a dim light in the dark beyond the road. I then set out on the road while holding Rui's hand. Then my baby was born, a bright clump of light.
「これからいろんなことがあると思うけど、それが五十嵐くんの選んだ道やったら、きっとそれは、五十嵐くんの“ひなたの道”になる」
03. I know you will experience a lot from now, but if it is the road you choose , you will walk on the sunny side of the street.
03. The action starts from "now" as stated and looks into the future (will experience/will walk) so this verb cannot be past tense (chose). It's a first type conditional sentence using If + present tense, followed by future tense. "If you marry her, you will be happy" (If this thing happens, that thing will happen).
choseと過去形を使えば仮定法過去になるが、完全に実現不可能なこと、願望になってしまう。このあたりを講師はネイティブ感覚で読み取って、理由説明とともに改善案を出してくれるのだ。
これはこのように修正された。
I know you will experience a lot from now, but if it is the road you choose, you will walk on the sunny side of the street.

『マンダロリアン 公式アートブック』は校了し、12月8日の発売を待つばかりだ。
刊行から少し遅れてしまうが、著者フィル・ショスタクへのインタビューも行いたく、現在、Disney社とLucasfilmに依頼状を書いている。
公式な依頼状であるので、基本的に英語の間違いがあってはならないし、レベルの低い英語だと、その時点で英語が十分に使えない者であるから、インタビューも質が低いものになる可能性が高いとおそらく判断され、却下されてしまう。
よって、ネイティブスピーカー・レベルの英語を書くことが求められるし、そのうえで自分が書いた英語を信頼できるネイティブにチェックしてもらうことが大切だ。

Use the present perfect tense (have...written), not the continuous form. You have not been continuously doing these things for 32 years. They are your everyday regular life tasks and sometimes you are doing one task and then a few weeks later another type of task. You are not continuously doing all of them all the time.
現在完了形進行形だと、「いっときも休まずずっと続いている」感じが出てしまうので、ここでは現在完了形でよい。現在完了形でももちろん「継続の意味」は出るし、講師の書く通り、わたしが32年関してきたことは日常的業務であって、そのあいだに数週間単位でそれに絡んだ違う仕事もしているから、現在完了進行形ではなく、現在完了形がふさわしい。
自分が書いたものを実際に直してもらえて、その問題点も明快に説明してもらえるのがありがたい。こんなサービスができるのは英語便しかない。
prepare（preparing） translationsがdo(done) translationに修正された。
これに対して、このようなコメントがついている。
It's a very Japanese way of speaking English to say "prepare translations" and this sort of overuse of "prepare" is often seen when Japanese people use English. However, it's far more likely that you will "do" translations or "translate material" using "translate" as a verb.
確かにここではprepareは不適当な言い方だ。
現在完了進行形から現在完了に直したので、lecturingはlecturedとしないといけない。
Past participle of the verb "lecture" needed here.
このように、英語便の添削とコメントは実に的確だ。
日本の翻訳家の場合、英語から日本語に移すだけの人がほとんどであるが、わたしは英日翻訳に加えて、日英翻訳、英語の書き下ろし、英語でのインタビューもこなしてきた。思うように英語ができずに落ち込むことも多いが、いろんなことをしてみることで、可能性が広がったことは確かであるし、英日翻訳の質も向上できたと思う。

英日翻訳と同じで、日英翻訳も「簡単なことを間違えてしまう」ケースが多い。
以下の例を見ていただきたい。

I am very happy to get a excellent mail from an author whom I really admire.
「うれしいメール」ということで、an excellent mailとしたが、それを英語便の講師は上のように修正し、次の長く、ありがたく、親切なコメントを寄せてくれている。
We are extremely unlikely to get an 'excellent' email. I might say to one of the Eigobin students that an email that I worked on was excellent because this means the written quality of the mail was very high and needed few corrections. Your meaning here is more like 'nice' but you have already expressed how 'happy' you were, so anything else isn't really needed.

I brought took books of their books to a post office, but because of the outbreak of COVID-19, I found that we cannot deliver our mail our to you in the United States.
bringとtakeの問題もそうだ。いつも間違えてしまう。
物品の郵送物のmailとあわせて、上のように修正し、以下の懇切丁寧な説明を与えてくれた。
The verb needs to be 'take' and not 'bring.' You take something from your home to the post office. Right now, you are at home, so from your perspective at this time, you take something out of your house to another location. There are 'takeaway' food places because we get the food and take it away to eat it somewhere else. When you are inside the post office, you will say to the staff: "I brought these books with me." At the post office, your perspective has changed to the point of arrival, so 'bring' is used.
AT HOME: "I am taking these letters to the post office now. I will be back soon."
AT THE P.O.: "I have brought these letters for posting. How much are they?"
Package mail is uncountable and has no plural form. We use 'mails' to refer to multiple 'emails.' "I got a lot of mails from my friends on my birthday."

ふたつの修正に対する英語便のコメントは以下の通りだ。

'Has now' means today, in 2020. You mean "at that time" back in 1962 so 'had now' must be used.

You have established that it 'had grown' into a profitable company, so next, this man + flew in + to do this deal. The past perfect tense is followed by the simple past tense. The first thing happens before the next thing, but both are in the past. "I had lived in Japan for four months before I found my own non-company apartment."

○Practical Example
Los Angeles Air Services continued to expand, moving its headquarters to Hollywood Lockheed Air Terminal in Burbank in 1950, and purchasing a number of aircrafts aircraft cheaply.
英語便の修正にあるように、aircraftは単複同形だ。This noun has the same form for both the singular and the plural.ということになる。（ただairplaneの複数形はairplanesだ。）恥ずかしいミスだが、このようなことはいつもしてしまう。
同じ単複同形の名詞として、
luggage
baggage
staff
furniture
などがある。
よって、こうした語が複数であると示したいときは次のような言い方をする。
There's room for one more piece of luggage.
「家具がもうひとつ置けます」
Mika needs to buy some new furniture.
「美香はいくつか新しい家具を買わないと」

Punctuation: use a comma and make a relative clause to join the short sentence with the longer one for better flow.
確かに文をつづけたほうが流れはいい。関係代名詞は直前のものに対してのみ使うという意識がどこかであるのか、このように前のものに対してなかなか使うことができず、結果として文を切ってしまって流れの悪い文にしてしまうことがよくある。

これも修正してもらったほうがずっと自然だ。

翻訳本に刊行するにあたって、「訳者あとがき」や新たな書き足し部分を英語にして著者に知らせることを求められることがあるし、あるいは削除した部分を読者にわかるように日本語でまとめるが、その部分も英語にして知らせる必要がある。こうしたことはすべて翻訳にあたる者が対応するべきだし、翻訳者が内容をいちばんよくわかっているからいちばん早くこなせるはずだ。
だが、昨日も述べたが、「自分が書き上げた英文が英語を第一言語とする人たちにどれくらい自然であるか、今ひとつ自信が持てない」ということは常にある。
そしてそれをしっかり指摘してもらえるサービスもほとんどない。

financeは不可算名詞なので、不定冠詞aはいらない。
ノンネイティブ・スピーカーにとって、冠詞の使い方はいつもむずかしい。「（ひとつ）資金を求めて」という発想をどこかでしてしまったからだが、こうした間違いを指摘してもらえるのはうれしい。

Join the sentences with "and" - the translation has too many simple sentences here, it makes it very "stop-start" and difficult to read.
上の部分の修正だが、わかりやすさを優先しようとして文をあまりに短く切っていくと、なんだか「ぶつ切れ」の感じがして、次の文とのつながりがはっきりしなくなって、逆に読みにくくなる。
英日翻訳をしていても同じようなことが起こるわけで、こうした指摘はほんとうにありがたい。英語便でないとできないことだ。

上にwere being builtと過去進行形で受身形が使われているので、並列にするには同じようにcasinos were being lined upとしなければならない。おそらくネイティブも同じような間違いをおかすことあると思うが、このあたりをきっちり拾ってもらえるのだから本当に助かる。
英語便なしに今の自分の仕事はちょっと考えられない。
