  動詞warrantは「…を正当とする、是認する」。

○Practical Example

  The store manager believes that item is not popular enough with customers to warrant ordering large quantities.

  「店長はその商品がお客にそれほど求めれれていないから大量注文をするほどではないと見ている」

●Extra Point

  名詞形はwarranty（「根拠、正当な理由」「保証」）.

◎Extra Example 　

　"Don’t forget: a warranty is only valid if the product has been used according to the manufacturer’s directions. A buyer will sometimes drop a machine or use it for something other than what it’s intended for.　Consequently, they’re not covered."
