LUST

　lust（強い欲望、切望、渇望）はいいものだろうか、それとも悪いものだろうか？　うーむ。

○Practical Example

　“Kenji is full of lust. All he thinks about is women.”

　“Maybe. But women love him, so what’s the problem?”

　「研二は欲望のかたまりだ。頭には女のことしかない」

　「たぶんそうだ。でも、女性たちは研二のことが好きだ。だから何が悪い？」

●Extra Point 　

　to lust after（［……を］切望［渇望］する）という表現もよく使われる。

　“Kenji lusts after all the women he meets.”

　“I think he’s a bit weird, don’t you?”

　「研二は出会った女性をすべて手に入れようとする」
