SHORE UP

　shoreは「支柱、つっかい、突っ張り」の意味があるが、shore upで「支柱［ブロックなど］で支える、補強する、～につっかい棒をする」の意味で使われる。
　だが、日常的には「（経済・企業・通貨など）を支える、支援する、強化する」の意味で使われるようだ。
