　「 [可算名詞の反復を避けて] 同類のもの」の意味で使われるoneの会話例を幾つか作って代名詞oneは「 [可算名詞の反復を避けて] 同類のもの」（リーダーズ）の意味で使われる。

"Would you like a dessert?"
"Sure. I’ll have a chocolate cake. Can you add one for him, too?"
「デザートはいかがですか？」
「いいですね。チョコレートケーキをください。それを彼にもください」

"I really like this dress. Do you have it in a different color?"
"Yes, we have one in blue and another one in red."
「このドレス、とても気に入りました。別の色はありますか？」
「はい、青いと赤があります。」
