ゴールデンウイークの倉敷を盛り上げる「ハートランド倉敷」が観光シーズンでにぎわう美観地区を主会場に2日から4日まで、音楽やパレードなどの多彩なイベントが繰り広げられる。
その中の一つ、瀬戸の花嫁川船流し、帰省した子供たちと見学。
その後、美観地区の料理旅館で子供たちが私の退職を慰労する会を開いてくれた。
私だけには慰労会のことは知らされておらず、突然のことで驚いたが嬉しかった。
