NUT

  nutは「木の実」であるが、いろいろな意味で使われる。「変人、狂人」の意味で使われるし、nut house, nut-houseはアメリカの俗語で「精神病院」をさす。

「…マニア[ファン, 狂]」の意味でも使われる。状況によっては、「おたく」と訳してよいだろう。
