意外に好評だったので、今日のGetUpEnglishでもさらに3例紹介する。
アリスは大きな木の下でお姉さんに本を読むように命じられるが、退屈してしまう。飼い猫のダイナを連れてお姉さんから離れていくと、白うさぎが大きな懐中時計を持って走っていくのを目にして、追いかける。
Under a big tree, Alice's sister instructs her to read a book, but Alice quickly grows bored. She leaves her sister with her pet cat, Dinah. While wandering with the cat, Alice catches sight of a white rabbit running with a large pocket watch and finds herself in pursuit of the rabbit unknowingly.
トゥイードル・ディーとトゥイードル・ダムは陽気な双子の兄弟。白うさぎを追いかけてふしぎの国に迷い込んできてびっくりしているアリスの周りを飛び跳ねて、歌をうたって聞かせる。ふたりはアリスに「セイウチと大工」の話も聞かせる。
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the cheerful twin brothers, bounce around Alice in Wonderland as she chases the white rabbit. They sing, entertain her with stories, and share "The Walrus and the Carpenter" with her.
アリスは「私をお食べ」と書かれたクッキーを食べて突然体が大きくなる。そしてこの世界から出られないと泣き出して、涙の海を作り出す。
After eating a cookie with the words 'Eat me' on it, Alice suddenly grows in size and feels she would not able to leave this world. Overwhelmed with despair, she weeps, creating a sea of tears.
materialは「重要な、大切な、適切な」の意味でも使われる。

マッドハッターは風変わりなお茶会（マッド・ティーパーティー）を開催する。３月うさぎとは仲よしで 一緒にお茶を楽しんでいる。マッドハッターは白うさぎを追いかけるアリスをお茶会に誘う。
The Mad Hatter hosts an unusual event known as the 'Mad Tea Party,' where he enjoys tea with his close friend, the March Hare. He invites Alice to join them while she is in pursuit of the White Rabbit.
チェシャ猫はいたずら好きのふしぎなネコ。体はピンクとすみれ色のしま模様で、いつもニヤニヤ笑いを浮かべている。ふいに現れたり、ニヤニヤ笑いだけ残して消えたりして、アリスを混乱させる。
The mischievous Cheshire Cat is a peculiar cat with a pink and violet striped body, always wearing a grin. It appears and disappears suddenly, leaving Alice bewildered with its mischievous behavior.
いじわるな性格で怒りっぽく、いつもいばっていて、すぐに「首をはねろ！」と叫びちらす。クロッケーの試合にアリスを誘うけれど、周りが気を使って女王に勝たせようとする。
The Queen of Hearts is an ill-tempered and bossy character who is quick to shout 'Off with their heads!' She invites Alice to play croquet, but her subjects try to ensure that the Queen wins.

alignmentは「一列整列, 配列; 整頓線; 調節, 整合; 照準」（リーダーズ）となかなか辞書の定義ではイメージがつかみにくいかもしれない。
「考え方や価値観が一列になっている」→「一致している」ととらえたらいいと思う。

Given health, one can achieve anything. 健康であれば何でも成し遂げられる.
ただ、givenが文頭でなく、文の中頃で使われる、従属節と帰結節が逆転していることがあるので注意しよう・

否定形では次のように使われることがあるので、訳出を含めて注意しよう。
