TO VALIDATE

　to validateは「・・・・・・を法的に有効とする、・・・・・・の正当性を立証する」。

　格式ばった言い方ではあるが、日常でもよく使われる。

○Practical Example

　"The footprints left at the scene, Mr. Sugishita."

　"The footprints validated the fact that somebody had been in there, Kanbe."

　「杉下さん、現場には足跡が残されていました」　

　「神部君、その足跡があるということは、そこに誰かがいたことが確かだということですよ」

●Extra Point

　杉下右京以外の人も、もちろんこの表現を使う。
