　heapは、「積み重ね、（乱雑に積み上げられた）山、かたまり」。

○Practical Example

　“Shigeaki, you’ve left your clothes in a big heap on the floor again.”

　“Sorry, mum, I’ve gotta finish this awesome game.” 　

　「茂明、また床に衣服を脱ぎ重ねたでしょう」　

　「ママ、ごめん。いますごいゲームをやっているんだ」

　a heap of, あるいはheaps ofで、「たくさん、どっさり」。

◎Extra Example

　“I’ve got heaps of homework, mum, so I don’t have time to clean up my room.”

　“Well, Mummy has a heap of work, too, Shigeaki, so you’ll just have to do it.”
