CROWD

　crowdは、「群衆、大勢」、あるいは「人込み」。単数でも使われるが、複数の「群衆」であれば、複数形で用いられる。

○Practical Example

　“Did you see the crowds that came to support McCain?”

　“Yeah, I did, Huck. Not such big crowds, if you ask me.” 　

　「マケインを支持する集団を見た？」　

　「ああ、ハック、見たよ。でも、ぼくに言わせれば、それほど大勢ではなかったね」

　to crowd（［人が］［場所に］群がる、［場所を］いっぱいにする）もよく使われる。

　“So many people were crowded into the elevator. I could barely move.”

　“Well, Huck, that’s what happens when McCain gives a talk.” 　

　「それは多くの人がエレベータに乗った。身動きできなかったよ」
