　今日のGetUpEnglishでは、「（言葉で詳細に）描写する、叙述する」という意味で使われるto delineateを学習しよう。

　「なんであれ、生活の断面を描いたリアリズムが書きたいなら、人物の人生を詳細に描写する必要がある」

　slice-of-lifeは、「生活［人生］の一断面を描いた」。
