IMAGINE

　imagineは、「心に描く、想像する」だが、"Just imagine!"あるいは"imagine!"だけで、感嘆詞として使われることがある。「ちょっと考えてもごらん」ということであるが、状況によっては「とんでもない、まさか」の意味で用いられるので、特に翻訳する人は注意しよう。
