TO CONSENT

　to consentは、「…を承諾する、…に同意する」。to consent toの形でよく使われる。

○Practical Example

　“We cannot do this operation if you do not consent to it, Mrs. Bonefield.”

　“I consent, doctor. Go ahead with it, please.” 　

　「ボーンフィルドさんの奥さま、奥さまに同意していただけませんと、手術できません」

　「同意します、先生。どうか進めてください」

　名詞consent（……への承諾、同意）もよく使われる。

　“We cannot do this operation without your wife’s consent, Mr. Bonefield.”

　“Come on, honey, give your consent. You don’t want to die, do you?”

　「ボーンフィールドさん、奥さまの同意が得られませんと、手術できません」
