　だが、この訳語がそのまま使えないことのほうが多いし、英日翻訳家であれば、この訳語をそのまま充ててよいものだろうかと考えるはずだ。

　OALDにあるとおり、

　having or showing skill in dealing with people in difficult situations　

の意味で使われることが多いので、状況に合わせて処理したい。
