TO TRANSFORM

　to transformは、「（……の）外見・性質などを（……に）一変させる、変形［変容、変態］させる」。

○Practical Example

　“Haruko went to Korea and was transformed by her experiences there.”

　“Before, she wanted to be a stock broker. Now she wants to study Korean history.” 　

　「晴子は韓国に行って、全然違う人になってしまった」　

　「そこに行く前は、株屋になりたかったようだ。今は韓国の歴史を勉強したいと言っている」

　名詞は、transformation（変形、変容、変質）．

　“What caused Haruko’s transformation?”

　“She saw Yonsama walking down the street, and I think it had a big effect on her.”

　「どうして晴子は変わったのかしら？」

　「町でヨンさまが歩いているのを見かけたからよ。それで大きな影響を受けたのよ」
